Today I will be reviewing this Chiffon Pleated Skirt from Dressgal. This skirt is available in pink, blue, khaki, yellow, nude, black, and red, and costs only $3.20 (I KNOW RIGHT?!).
This is my first time reviewing Dressgal! Dressgal is another site with tons of cute clothes from a variety of styles - Korean, American, etc. When I first checked out their website, I was impressed with the variety!
Best of all? Well, you guys probably know by now that I love a bargain...and these clothes are cheap! Yayyyy~! Of course, I am always veryyyy wary of sites that sell cheap clothes...but luckily, like the other similar stores I've reviewed recently, I am super glad I decided to give this store a shot.
*While this review is sponsored, it is 1000% my own opinion. All prices are in USD.
Shipping & Packaging
The packaging consisted of gray plastic envelope style, with the item inside in a plastic bag. The package arrived on time with no damage. Though you'll probably want to iron it before you wear it, as chiffon wrinkles easily in shipping.
There are lots of shipping options! I recommend checking out my Dresslink review where I detail how shipping works on these kinds of sites, if you are not familiar with them.
There is also a free shipping section that includes items that ship for free.
Fitting
I reallllly love how this skirt fits! It's super comfortable. The elastic on the waist is not constricting at all, and yet it does a nice job of hugging my waist.
It's not too short either - which I always worry about when ordering skirts online haha! I think even taller girls would be able to wear this skirt comfortably.
Quality
The material is chiffon, so it's of course light and a little sheer. It feels nice on my skin and isn't scratchy at all. I did notice the hem line is not quite symmetrical, which normally would really bug me, but luckily with this skirt being as flowy as it is, it's not noticeable in person.
The elastic is stretchy and of good quality!
Design
This skirt is a great addition to any closet! It is definitely easy to tailor to your own style - make it edgier with a leather jacket and boots, make it girlier with a lacey blouse. And it comes in many colors, too!
Speaking of color, this was listed as a nude color on the site, and the photo looked as such...but the color is actually a cross between mauve and taupe. Definitely still a pretty color, but you'll want to keep that in mind if you are planning to buy the nude color!
I love how the effortless pleats look this skirt is styled with...they don't look too rigid but yet there is life to the skirt that gives it just that something extra.
Overall
I'm glad this skirt comes in so many colors, because it practically goes with everything! I really like it.
Order from this store again?
Yes, I would! And I would be willing to buy from them with my own money. c:
If you would like to purchase this skirt, you can do so right here. It currently costs $3.20, and is also available in pink, blue, khaki, yellow, black, and red.
Thank you for sponsoring me, Dressgal, and thank you cupcakes for reading~! Happy shopping! ^_^
